The Computer Science Deptartment of ATHS-boys campus in Mohammed Bin Zayed successfully conducted the “Hour of Code” event on the 7th of December, 2015.
ATHS Grade 8, 9 and STS Grade 10 participated in this global event along with twenty four teachers. All joiners received certificates for their participation. After a student chose a game and completed 20 levels during the one hour of Code, they were awarded certificates of completion.

The Hour of Code, is organized by nonprofit Code.org and over 100 other organizations. It is a statement that today’s generation of students are ready to learn critical skills for 21st century success. Target: Aiming to reach 100,000 Hour of Code events worldwide, introducing millions of new learners to computer science!
