A group of female students from the Applied Technology High School in Al Ain presented a number of new outstanding scientific health related projects, out of which is "the Prevention from Corona Virus", "the Extraction of Genetic Material (DNA) from the tissues of plants and animals", and "The dangers of consuming energy drinks", within an exhibition which included 43 scientific, engineering, technological and health projects developed by 160 of the 12th grade female students in the occasion of their graduation.

Humaid Mohammed Obaid Al Qatami, Minister of Education, witnessed the ceremony held by the Institute of Applied Technology, under the slogan "The House is Unified" on the occasion of the graduation of the seventh batch of the Applied Technology High School, Dubai branch, during which the students presented the epic of loyalty to His Highness the Head of State.

The new batch included 177 students forming an elite group of national cadres specialized in Engineering Science and Technology, Computer Science and other disciplines of advanced technology.

Increased awareness of the importance of the knowledge-based economy among UAE Nationals.

Dr. Abdullatif Al Shamsi, Managing Director of the Institute of Applied Technology considered the increase in demand on the Institute's wing at Al Najah and the National Awareness and Human Services exhibitions as a proof of the increasing awareness among UAE Nationals towards the importance of the knowledge-based-economy and the active participation in the sustainable building and development process in the country.
