A group of female students from the Applied Technology High School in Al Ain presented a number of new outstanding scientific health related projects, out of which is "the Prevention from Corona Virus", "the Extraction of Genetic Material (DNA) from the tissues of plants and animals", and "The dangers of consuming energy drinks", within an exhibition which included 43 scientific, engineering, technological and health projects developed by 160 of the 12th grade female students in the occasion of their graduation.
Dr. Abdullatif Alshamsi, Managing Director of the Institute of Applied Technology, said that the projects presented by the female students are distinct and clearly indicate the success of the strategy of the Institute in connecting the students during their studies in the Applied Technology High Schools with the university specialized studies as in Fatima College of Health Sciences, where the study in the Applied Technology High Schools is not limited to the fields of Engineering and Technology but also extends to cover many areas.
