ADPOLY HOLDS EXHIBITION SHOWCASING GRADUATION PROJECTS

November 24, 2021

Abu Dhabi Polytechnic organized the exhibition of students’ graduation projects in November. The purpose of this showcase was to demonstrate their final project, which was a culmination of the knowledge and skills they had learned during their four-year degree. Students had the opportunity to present their graduation projects in the form of posters and prototypes. All the engineering programs participated in this major event.

Dr. Ali AlNaqbi, Director of ADPoly, opened the exhibition and stressed the importance of these projects. They represent the result of their achievements and hard work throughout their degree. It was also a good chance to implement the skills and information they had learned in their programs, and to create engineering projects that have practical and economic benefits.

The exhibition gave students from various disciplines the opportunity to showcase the skills they had refined to develop a creative and innovative approach toward engineering and technical production. Students were able to apply their ideas to real projects in collaboration with faculty mentors. This allowed them to achieve their final vision, integrate outside feedback, and conduct practical research as a part of the creative process.

Dr. Mufeed Batarseh, Head of the Academic Support Department, pointed out that these projects express the visions and creativity of their owners. This shows the students’ awareness of their community, and their ability to express their ideas, forming them with creativity and innovation. He thanked the students and faculty members who contributed to the implementation and supervision of this exhibition.

The projects were subject to discussion and evaluation by judges from the academic staff. Students received constructive feedback on their graduation projects to continue developing them. The students who won the best projects received certificates of appreciation from the heads of each program.

Congratulations to all the students who participated in the events – this is a great start to your professional life!
